Winter is here at Earth Spirit…
We’ve been busy over here at Earth Spirit and we are excited to let you know what we’ve been working on! Keep reading for the inside scoop on some really cool things happening now and into 2023…
Can you believe it’s almost December?
Is it just me or did this year fly by? It seems like yesterday that we were leaving the doors of the shop open because the Spring weather was just glorious! And, does it feel like we only got about 25 minutes of Fall and we just skipped right over to winter? I can’t believe that tomorrow is December 1st.
It’s been interesting finding a new rhythm this Fall and Winter now that I’m solely at the shop. I’ve been figuring out how to prioritize and how to set time aside for things at the house and for family. It’s definitely nice to have more time for production, though, since it’s still just me making all our products, and the shop is way busier than just a website, it’s been a LOT of work! Good thing I still love making candles, jewelry and our bath and body products.
For small businesses, this is the time of year that we prep for all year long. November and December are the months that will carry us through the slow winter months when things slow down. For product-based businesses like Earth Spirit, I prep and craft and curate and organize and plan for these months to make sure the shop has all of the magical items you want to gift to your loved ones.
I have been working on some wonderful offerings for your gifting needs. The Winter Seasonal Candles were released last weekend for Small Business Saturday, and wow, you guys showed up! The website is updated, but we are already sold out of our customer favorite, Yule candle! Don’t worry, I’m working on making more and will update the website this week. But, even though Yule is temporarily sold out, you can still purchase the “Wassail” and “In the Pines” scents, both of which I’m really proud!
You will probably notice some different labels and a new version of our logo on our products and I’m excited to announce a little bit of a rebrand this coming January! Stay tuned for details on our Open House.
I am also working on having some curated gift boxes in the shop that you can grab-and-go for your gifting ease. These are going to be available in our Downtown storefront only, because I honestly just don’t think I can keep up with the photography, writing descriptions, and all the other things that go into updating the website to reflect all the gift packs I can quickly put together for the shop. That said, I am happy to put together a custom gift box of items from the website to ship to your recipients. Just leave me notes on your order when you check out and I’ll take care of it for you.
